STREHA shelter is the first residential center in Albania that helps the LGBTI community in emergencies in terms of housing. This is a joint project of the organizations: “Alliance Against LGBT Discrimination” and “ProLGBT” (United Pro Cause LGBT).
STREHA is a concrete transistor service for all LGBTI young people from age 18 to 25 that face the threat of eviction from their houses (usually at the stage of coming out) or for them that life is made impossible because of the threats, domestic violence, etc. The primary service of “Streha” shelter is the housing for a period that can last up to 6 months.
