RFSL, the National Association for Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Intersex Rights, is a non-profit organisation founded in 1950. RFSL’s goal is that the same rights, opportunities and obligations apply to LGBTQI people as to everyone else in society. RFSL has a supportive reception, education and certification activity, the Newcomers Activity (a support group and meeting place for newcomers to Sweden) and a unit that works specifically with HIV and health. RFSL’s international work is also extensive and we collaborate with LGBTQI organisations, for example in South Africa and Indonesia.
